From a Woman to a Mother
(outreach ministry to mothers in San Antonio Tlayacapan &
LCBC Spanish-language congregation)
We take this opportunity to honor our Mexican ladies who
have received the gift of motherhood and to point them to
the One from whom all blessing flow! The message will be
that
'as mothers, the best thing we can give our children is
the word of God, for in the word of God there is wisdom,
power, and truth, and the truth will set us free, from the
bondage of sin and self.'
Please pray for the effort to share His love with them
through home visits, invitation to Bible study,
distribution of small feminine gift packets and—if
enough contributions are received—despensas
(food packets) to help the family.
Monetary
donations may be placed in the "Mother's Day Despensas"
can on top of the piano. Items for the gift packets (your
unused jewelry, toiletries from hotel stays, etc.) may be
put in Fellowship Hall collection basket. Thank you for
participating!
